Compendium

Welcome to Tall Timbers

Jump to section:

Thank you for choosing to stay at Tall Timbers. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and inform you it is our aim to ensure your comfort and enjoyment of our services – whether overnight, or longer, it is our pleasure to be of service to you.

The story of Tall Timbers began in 1989 with the hard work of many businesses in our region. Many of these people still live here today! Our region’s pioneering timber families are recognized in the names of our bistro, two function areas, and lounge bar; a true testament to the many timbers used to build our property, enhancing our commitment to our community. We believe those treasured memories and values are carried through to our service, hospitality, and the passion that each member of our team exudes.

Please take the opportunity to walk around the property and share in the enjoyment of our landscape and rural setting. Make use of our many facilities, whether it is the pool, gym, restaurant, gaming, TAB, or bars – it is here for you to enjoy. Our onsite nationally branded Thirsty Camel Bottle Shop stocks most of the recognized brands of beer, wine, and spirits – but also has a wonderful array of Tasmanian wines. Trust me when I say that our cool and climate wines will certainly be enjoyable too!

So please enjoy your time at Tall Timbers. Take pleasure in all we have to offer. I know that once you have experienced our region’s full potential you will keep coming back time and again. Should you need any assistance during your stay, please contact our reception staff, or ask me directly.
Until then, take care.
